World record holder DJ Danny D., whose exploits on the decks have been featured on local and national television, is joining the Radio Basingstoke team with his ever-popular tastes in popular music. Having worked on a number of local radio stations in the south west, Danny is sure to become a firm favourite with Hampshire audiences.
Whilst not having been on radio in this area, Danny is no stranger here. One of his world records was set at the former Zero's nightclub where he was interviewed live on GMTV; he then set his current 120 hours at The Academy in Worting Road as a fund-raiser for Children In Need's Pudsey Bear charity.
